"Baltic Group", founded in 1993, for over decade has been supplying a vast range of high quality ingredients to all branches of food, pharmaceutical, perfumery, cosmetic, and household chemical industries.
Constant widening of product range in compliance with the customers' needs and wants, annual increase in sales volume, advent of affiliate companies corroborate dynamic development of the company as well as strengthening of market position in Russia.
In December 2002 German company "Ter Hell & Co. GmbH" bought part of "Baltic Group" shares, showing its confidence in the company and interest in investment business in Russia.
Since April 2003 "Baltic Group" has become a constant member of Union of Food Ingredients Producers.

The considerable amount in Baltic Group’s turnover takes supplying of flavors, fragrances and raw materials for cosmetic industry. Baltic Group is an official logistic partner of the following producers: Symrise GmbH & Co. KG (Germany), Firmenich SA (Switzerland), Givaudan SA (Switzerland). We also supply preservatives, sweeteners, hydrocolloids etc. We constantly widen our product range in order to meet the requirements of our customers and are open for any new offers from foreign partners.

SERVICES

Baltic Group imports more than 3500 denominations of food ingredients and chemical products to Russia.
Baltic Group’s range of services includes:

• Promoting and selling food ingredients and chemicals produced by foreign suppliers to Russian manufacturers.
• Our own storage facility in Saint-Petersburg and also warehouse in Moscow allow Baltic Group to supply orders of any size - from kilos to tons.
• Providing Russian manufacturers with necessary support materials including samples, technical specifications and additional information about products. Our staff includes experienced food technologists ready to provide technical advice to our customers.
• Translating required documents.
• Handling all aspects of the importing process.
• Providing logistics services within Russia, including warehousing, ordering transportation, security, etc.

STAFF

Number of staff employed by "Baltic Group" is more than 50 people. They are highly skilled technologists, ready to provide our customers with technical support, recommendation on application, samples, and formulations of finished products. Technologists, salesmen have regular trainings on basis of our Western partners' enterprises - food ingredient manufacturers. "Baltic Group" partners are ready to solve specific technical problems of our customers, develop new tailor-made products and visit their production sites to produce winning solutions.
 
Transport department of "Baltic Group" provides fast and reliable distribution service within Russia and Belorussia by any means of transport. Each batch of goods is accompanied by appropriate certificates of analysis and sanitary-hygienic certificates.

In 1998 "Baltic Group" set up its first daughter company JSC "Afaya" specializing in sales of:

1 November, 2000 "Baltic Group-MF", Moscow department of "Baltic Group", was opened to provide superior and faster customer service.
